Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using ListEmailCheck ("the Service") at listemailcheck.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ListEmailCheck provides email address verification and list cleaning tools. We check whether email addresses are syntactically valid, have functioning mail servers, and have active mailboxes via SMTP handshake — without sending any email to the address.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to verify addresses for spam, phishing, or any unsolicited mass communication
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas, or plan restrictions
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond its published API
• Submit addresses belonging to individuals without a lawful basis for processing

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

4. Plans, quotas, and billing

• The free plan allows 100 verifications per day. Unused quota does not roll over.
• Paid plans provide a one-time allotment of verifications that do not expire while the subscription is active.
• Billing is processed by PayPal. By subscribing, you also agree to PayPal's Terms of Service.
• All sales are final. Refunds are issued at our sole discretion for billing errors.

5. Accuracy of results

Verification results are provided on a best-effort basis. Some mail servers use greylisting, catch-all configurations, or block SMTP probing — which may cause valid addresses to be flagged as risky or unverifiable. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy and accept no liability for decisions made on the basis of verification results.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access, and we will provide advance notice where practicable. Current service status is available at listemailcheck.com/status.

7. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and code comprising the Service are the property of ListEmailCheck or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works without express written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ListEmailCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ListEmailCheck is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
