1. Who we are

ListEmailCheck ("we", "us", "our") operates the email verification service available at listemailcheck.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — your email address and hashed password when you register.
• Email addresses you verify — addresses submitted for verification. We process these to return a result and do not store them beyond the duration of the request or job.
• Usage data — verification counts, timestamps, and plan quota usage needed to operate the service.
• Payment data — billing is handled by PayPal. We receive only a subscription/plan reference; we never store card numbers or full payment details.
• Log data — standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and operate the email verification service
• To enforce plan quotas and process billing
• To send transactional emails (password resets, OTP codes)
• To monitor service health and investigate abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time (see section 6). Bulk verification job results are available in your dashboard for 30 days, after which they are automatically purged.

5. Third-party services

• PayPal — payment processing. Subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy.
• Redis / Celery — background job processing on our infrastructure. No data is shared with third parties.
• Railway / hosting — our infrastructure provider. Data is stored in their data centres under their DPA.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
